Kathleen McMillan

Teacher by day, writer by night, Kathleen has been educating children and telling artful stories for two and a half decades. She is credentialed in Early Childhood Education, has written four children’s books (with several more ready in the wings), and is a popular speaker at schools, conferences, and fairs.

Aside from several years of living in Caronport, Saskatchewan, Kathleen has spent most of her life in British Columbia, where she lives now. Kathleen teaches pre-school part-time and enjoys a highly creative, active, and outdoorsy lifestyle with her husband Grant (a university registrar and accomplished wood carver) and their three teenage children, who provide regular inspiration for Kathleen's stories.

Kathleen says the scariest and most
challenging thing she has done in her life
so far is facing the fire in CBC-TV's
"Dragons' Den"! Watch our website and Facebook page for news about
an airing date for the fall season.
